Our Staff At Can-Pro, our staff are chosen based upon their skills, knowledge and attitude. All of our instructors have extensive backgrounds in education and/or have played the game at high levels and demonstrated an ability to instruct and motivate the participants. Joe Manchurek, B.A., M.ED. - Director, High School teacher and junior hockey coach. Coordinator of several hockey programs in Calgary and area. Kevin Herkendaal, - Assistant Manager. Goaltending coordinator and minor hockey goaltending coach. Bill Wells, - Assistant Manager. Internationally active in adult hockey tournaments and leagues. Peter Mielzynski, B.SC., B.ED. - Former Clarkson College N.C.A.A. Division 1 (USA) goaltender. Body building specialist and Toronto area High School coach. Tim Martin, B.PE. - High School Phys. Ed. Teacher and minor hockey goaltending coach. Currently playing in Alberta Centennial Hockey League. Garth Morgan - Played for the Lethbridge Broncos Junior 'A', Spokane Flyers of the Pacific League. Instructor at hockey schools in both Canada and the USA. Dennis Horan, B.SC. - Played for the University of Alberta and is presently The Head coach of a Calgary 'AA' hockey club. Jim Finney - Intermediate Coaches Level Certificate, played for the Calgary Canucks, Midget 'AAA' coach. |
